membership of the Rust Foundation, its highest tier

On 9 September 2026, at RustConf, the Rust Foundation announced the Solana Foundation and NVIDIA as new Platinum members, its highest membership level. Jacob Creech, the Solana Foundation's VP of Technology, described investing in Rust as an investment in the infrastructure Solana's developers depend on.
